I am a ceramic artist and teacher. I work from my studio at home in Constantia where I teach adults various hand-building and sculptural techniques. My classes are small and intimate, with an emphasis on encouraging individual styles.
From time to time I also invite other ceramic artists in to give short courses on various different techniques.

The white sculptures, platters and bowls are from my recent exhibition at Kirstenbosch. They are inspired by proverbs, quotes and sayings. 'Domestic Bliss' for example, is a woman with a child hanging onto her apron stings, juggling a baby, the laundry etc. The 'frocks and flowers' are from my 'Haute Couture Clay' exhibition.
Most of the work in my portfolio is sold, but I am happy to take commissions.
Class Information:
I hold three classes a week. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9.30 - 12.30 and on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 - 10.30.
I have a maximum of seven students in a class, and have mixed classes of beginners and advanced students.
