Calton Apartments are part of a private residential development, with their own free, onsite, off-street, private car parking. Situated in Annandale Street, a quiet residential street off the top of Leith walk, in the heart of Scotland's capital. The apartments are only a short walk away from Princes Street, Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Calton Hill, Playhouse Theatre and Edinburgh Castle, to name but a few...
**Excellent public transport few minutes walk from the apartments. On the doorstep is a wide variety of local shopping facilities, restaurants, theatres, entertainment, and historic attractions, all located within easy walking distance. Princes Street, with the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, is nearby.

Check-in: 4.00 pm (although in general, the apartments are ready between 12.00 - 2.30 pm. Luggage can be left at the Abbey Hotel (formerly Greenside Hotel) safely, and uplifted later in the afternoon if the apartments are not ready if you arrive earlier).

Head Office, located at the Abbey Hotel (formerly Greenside Hotel) 9 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh. The front doors of the Abbey Hotel are open until 10.30 pm.
Check-out: 10.30 am. **In circumstances where guests flight/trains depart later in the day, they must check out of the apartments by 10.30 am at the latest, but they are more than welcome to leave their luggage at the Abbey Hotel (formerly the Greenside Hotel, and pick it up later in the day to continue their return journey.

- Abbey Hotel front doors are open until 10.30 pm.
- Travelling from EdinburghInternationalAirport: Airport taxis (£15.00 - £20.00 per car) from Airport directly to the Greenside Hotel.Airlink Express buses (approx £5 per person, single journey), from Airport to WaverleyBridge - central Edinburgh.
- Suggest taking taxi to Check-In point at Abbey Hotel (**Formerly Greenside Hotel)to uplift keys & instructions - from there, you will be directed to the apartments, 2 minutes by car, or 10 minutes walk
- From Airport: 7 miles. 30-50 minutes. WaverleyBridge, you can get a taxi to the Greenside Hotel, (approx.£3.50), approx. 5 minute journey.
- DRIVING FROM AIRPORT: * Follow road signs for City Centre A1, leading into West End of Edinburgh.
- Travel one block along Princes Street (YOU CANNOT GO DOWN PRINCES ST - ONLY BUSES & TAXIS).
- Road diverts to left, passing Charlotte Square on left.
- Turn right onto Queen Street (parallel to Princes Street & George Street).
- Proceed down Queen Street, this becomes York Place.
- Come to a large paved roundabout.
- You will see the Omni Centre (glass fronted building) in front of you, and Playhouse Theatre.
- See signs for Leith (A1) and Berwick upon Tweed, follow this route (Playhouse Theatre will be on your right hand side at this point).
- You will come to a smaller roundabout (**roadworks at present, therefore, go along London Road, at crossroads traffic lights, turn right, turn sharp right again up Calton Terrace Brae, this will lead you up to Royal Terrace).
- **IF ARRIVING BY TAXI - ASK THE DRIVER TO WAIT while one person goes in SIGN FOR THE KEYS & brief Terms & Conditions of Let.
- PLEASE NOTE: Parking available on the opposite side of the Hotel, *NOT in Resident's spaces.
- CHECK OUT: 10.30 am. **In circumstances where guests flight/trains depart later in the day, they must check out of the apartments by 10.30 am at the latest, but they are more than welcome to leave their luggage at the Abbey Hotel (**Formerly Greenside Hotel), and pick it up later in the day to continue their return journey
