Deeply sad to read of your departure from Corrour. A cup of coffee and a bacon roll before the 6:25 train was always a fitting ending to a days walking around Loch Ossian or Lubnaclach. Like a great number of others, I will miss you all. I'm afraid the 'big sky' of Corrour will always call me back there but it won't be the same. I wish you all the very best in your new venture. Best regards Campbell Barrie

Beth, 'Paddington' from Peru - the expedition was a success . The 'rowan jelly' is superb. I suspect the debacle over Corrour has some years to run! There will be a reckoning.

Beth You have been a generous host on many occasions - each of which I recall with a huge smile on my face. I know your good food will carry over to Lismore - I just hope I'll find such good accomodation nearby. Plans are to be amongst your early customers on the run up for next Easter (brother Simon's crascking idea for a Stag weekend) though the change at Crianlarich and the ferry means it won't be @ 08:58 any more... The folks who take on Corrour have a VERY tough act to follow.

Beth, thanks for great weekend a month ago, again. Specially enjoyed the family meal with Campbell and Joy! My head's better now. Was going to send a card but didn't know where to send it. So sorry you are leaving, but good luck on Lismore - shall call in one day. All the best to Dave too.

Hi Beth, All the best for your new venture. The outdoor people and the railway enthousiasts will miss you and your great food. Lismore will be a lot less bleak than Corrour. I must visit some time since Lismore is a part of Scotland that I have never visited. Thanks Norman - would be great to see you there. Take care Beth

Hi Beth Thanks for looking after us so well over the Easter weekend. The porridge set us up for the hills; the excellent packed lunches kept us going and the thought of a warm welcome and a hearty dinner sped our return. The lamb on Sunday night was particularly noteworthy.

Beth and Dave you are both stars! Thankyou for looking after me so well, your hospitality, generosity and kindness was more than anyone can expect or deserve. I am sorry again for being such a state when I turned up- I blame the weather as much as my determination (although I know which is really to blame!). I am sure if i was in better condidtion the food would still have been delicous and filling, the bed as comfy, and the welcome as warm! I promise next time I visit I will do my best not to be as dehydrated, fatigued, smelly, cold and wet! I assure you, however, that I will still be very grateful! Thanks again, Andrew You are welcome and you were not too smelly! I have 2 young people of my own and would like to think someone would look after them is they arrived on the doorstep needing shelter. Looking forward to your next visit - take care, good luck with the mountain running. Beth

Had a fantastic stay. Usual excellent hospitality from Beth. All of Scotland's seasons in one week made our activities 'interesting' as they say! Can't recommend enough. Best wishes, Len

Hi Beth and Dave, I just wanted to say I had a brilliant time staying at your place on Sunday night along with my dad Norrie and Alan. I will definitely be back and next time I'll bring the kids for a walk around Loch Ossian. Cheers!

This is a brill B&B/cafe/restaurant which really 'makes' a visit to this stunning area. The owners are warm and welcoming and seem happy to accommodate various requests. The lounge, with its wood burning stove, is a cosy hub and just the job after a long days walking. Very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended for both winter and summer trips.
