Prestonpans Rifle Club

Prestonpans Rifle Club is the only indoor smallbore rifle club in East Lothian, that the public have access to.

We meet at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings. Contact can be made on email,  

We shoot local and national competitions. There is a junior section and team, the junior section meets at 6.30pm Wednesday evenings. It is involved in competition with other clubs and are doing very well.

Before coming along with your child please be aware that rifles are fairly heavy, and one must be able to reach the trigger when the butt is placed in the shoulder, idealy the child should be at least 10-12 years old and about 4ft 9inches tall as a minimum requirement.

We have a very strong junior section. So much interest has been shown recently in the junior section.

No child (under 16 years old) will be given access to the club unless accompanied by a parent/gaurdian on their first visit.

We have reached capacity for juniors at the moment, however, you may leave your details on our message board. When a space becomes available you will be contacted on a first come first served basis
